Red Ribbon Week is a time for providing drug awareness and helping children understand the importance of being drug free.  The week includes participation from all grade levels 3rd - 5th as well as faculty, staff, and administration.  Everyone made the week educational and fun.  Remember - Respect yourself.... Be drug free!

Salvation Army Can-a-thon

Each year at Armuchee Elementary students, faculty, and staff participate in the Salvation Army Can-a-thon.  We are pleased with the contributions our AES family makes each year.  Thank you for sharing your caring spirit and congratulations AES - you did it again..... always helping others.

Attendance Celebrations

Research has proven that good school attendance is important in the life of a child.  These life long patterns and behaviors are formed at an early age.  We encourage good attendance at Armuchee Elementary.  Not only do the students enjoy the benefits of their good grades, but they also enjoy the extra attendance celebration reward just for coming to school everyday.  Be there - it makes a difference.

AES Mentoring Program

We are pleased that our mentoring program is active again this year.  We are fortunate to have partnered with Shorter College Education Department, Pleasant Valley North Church, and Communities in Schools to build our program.  Each week we have mentors coming to our school to spend time with children who may need additional academic assistance.  We say thank you for your service and for your involvment with our students.  If you would like to volunteer as a mentor in our school please contact AES School Counselor, Carol Burris at 706-802-6758 for more information.

Helping others is an honor
